Have you done your duty as a Filipino?
On May 10, 2010, we the Filipino youth will have our best chance to let our voices be heard on issues that affect us - our education, our jobs, our future. Come Election Day, the power of our votes affords us a chance to take our future into our own hands.
That is why we, at ChizNation, are working to engage young people like you to be part of the collective effort to bring a progressive change in our country, by first and foremost exercising your right to vote.
If you are a Filipino citizen 18 years old and above, you are eligible to register to vote with the local Comelec office where you reside. All you need to do is to personally present a valid identification card (such as student's ID, employee's ID, driver's license; NBI/PNP clearance; passport; or SSS/GSIS ID) and fill out an application form to register.
Registration is ongoing in all local Comelec offices Mondays thru Saturdays (including holidays) from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Deadline for registration is on October 31, 2009.
