It may be obvious from their name, but ToiletSeats.co.uk does in fact sell a wide variety of toilet seats to meet virtually everyone’s taste. The product range is quite varied, about as varied as one needs for a toilet seat anyway; ranging from wooden seats, to mdf seats, to child ‘combo’ seats with a football design printed on it. The website is being launched on the same platform that the huge online plumbing retailer, Plumbworld, currently uses. This shows just how successful the business is, taking on the platform of its big sister; anyone who has used the Plumbworld site will hopefully have found their site extremely user friendly and this is the plan for ToiletSeats.
Tim Hodge, Web Admin at ToiletSeats.co.uk added: “Pleasing the customer is the priority; so ensuring that our range of products is varied enough for everyone to find something they want is a necessity. The same for navigation and payment options, if the user struggles to find or buy the item they want, they will leave, displeased – therefore we take many measures to ensure this is not the outcome. Although receiving great feedback from the majority of customers who visit the site, we will continue to improve it as there is no such thing as a ‘perfect website’; however, we can strive for the impossible.”
ToiletSeats.co.uk is a sub-site of the dominating online plumbing retailer, Plumbworld. Plumbworld.co.uk was established in 1999 by James and Anita Hickman and was later sold to the Grafton Group PLC in December 2006, they now employ over 50 people in their purpose built warehouse and offices and turnover close to £20 million a year. The Plumbworld Empire expands month by month with new additions to staff and websites; the current website count sits at 50+ with more in the pipeline. The websites vary hugely and specialise in anything from Franke sinks and barbecues to bathrooms and Mira showers.
